5 Things to Get Ready to Go Back to School in Alpharetta

The 2013-14 school year in Alpharetta and Milton is almost here. Are you ready?

With the 2013-14 school year in Alpharetta and Milton fast approaching on Monday, Aug. 12, here's a few things you should know:

Sneak Peeks, Open Houses, Etc.: Most schools hold a series of sneak peeks, open houses and orientations before the kids head back. Here's the schedule for Alpharetta and Milton schools. 

Paperwork, Paperwork, Paperwork: Requirements students must meet before going back to school include proof of immunizations and proof of residence.  

School Bus 411: Fulton Schools' school bus portal has Alpharetta and Milton school bus schedules, bus stop information and delays. Note that as of Monday, July 29, the school system indicated on its website that this information was still being updated.

School Meals: Elementary school lunches will cost $2.20 while high school and middle school lunches cost $2.45. Check out menus, applications for reduced and free lunches, and pre-pay instructions.
