  1. The City of Milton is reporting that they achieved 100 percent compliance related to all issues reported through SeeClickFix. You can use this app and webpage to report issues including potholes, drivers going significantly over the speed limit, and other types of violations in Milton.   2. A Milton woman contacted the police because she fell victim to a scam involving thousands of dollars. She was using her computer and it became locked when some ads popped up. She called the number on her screen and was told that someone was using her information to purchase online porn. They instructed her to purchase $20,000 in gift cards and convert over $13,000 into bitcoin. She purchased gift cards from Walmart and other retailers and used Coinflip to purchase Bitcoin. (Appen)
  3. An Alpharetta homeowner recently prevented his home from being burglarized. He was home and saw a man trying to get in through a sliding glass door after breaking the lock. The homeowner armed himself and showed himself to the alleged thief, who then took off. This incident occurred on Winthrope Chase Drive. (Appen)

  • The Alpharetta library needs your gently used books. Please bring them, plus puzzles and board games, with all of their pieces to the library during business hours. You can drop them off in the book bin next to the bookstore. These donations will be sold, and the funds will be used for library programs.   • The Wacky World playground in Wills Park is going to be rebuilt. The project will take place in the spring of 2024, and many volunteers are needed.   • Milton Police are investigating a fraudulent account that was opened. A man contacted them about an outstanding debt to a collection agency tied to a AT&T Mobility account that was opened last year in Alabama. He was not aware of the account and saw other unauthorized charges to this credit card account. (Appen)
