Alpharetta Student Nominated For Jefferson Scholars Competition
Wesleyan School has selected Angela Yang as a nominee for this year's Jefferson Scholars competition.

ALPHARETTA, GA - Wesleyan is delighted to announce that Alpharetta’s Angela Yang has been selected by a faculty committee as one of the school’s nominees for this year’s Jefferson Scholars competition.
High schools across the country are asked to select one or, in exceptional cases, two seniors to participate. Less than 2,000 students nationwide will be nominated by their schools.

The Jefferson Scholars Foundation seeks to attract the most promising scholars to the University of Virginia. Nominees are chosen according to the following guidelines:
The Foundation seeks to find high school seniors who possess exceptional ability in leadership and scholarship and who show promise of making a significant contribution to the University community as students and to society at large as graduates. Student are nominated who best exemplify the Jeffersonian ideals of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship.
