Alpharetta Trash Collection Schedule Altered By Holidays
Trash will not be collected on Christmas Day and New Year's Day in the city of Alpharetta.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The city of Alpharetta is reminding residents that the next two weeks will bring some temporary changes in trash and recycling collection due to the holidays.
Christmas Day and New Year's Day are two of three annual holidays on which residential waste collection does not occur in the city. With this in mind here is the following schedule you should expect to see over the next two weeks:
Week Of Dec. 24

- Monday: Normal service
- Tuesday: No Service
- Wednesday: Residences normally serviced on Tuesday will be served
- Thursday: Residences normally serviced on Wednesday will be served
- Friday: Residences normally serviced on Thursday will be served
- Saturday: Residences normally serviced on Friday will be served
Week Of Dec. 31
- Monday: Normal service
- Tuesday: No Service
- Wednesday: Residences normally serviced on Tuesday will be served
- Thursday: Residences normally serviced on Wednesday will be served
- Friday: Residences normally serviced on Thursday will be served
- Saturday: Residences normally serviced on Friday will be served
All residential waste and recycling collection will return to the normal schedule beginning the week of Jan. 7, 2019. New residents or those who are uncertain as to their normal service day can access the Service Schedule below to see a list of service days by street.
