- City of Alpharetta trash and recycling and trash will be on a different schedule this week due to the holidays. Republic will have a one-day delay for services on Dec. 26 through Dec. 31. For example, if you're normally serviced on Monday, your service will occur on Tuesday. Customers who are serviced on Friday can expect their service on Saturday.
(Press Release Desk ) - The Alpharetta Fire Department has a new head of training. Jeff Garreau, who was promoted into this position, has nearly 30 years of fire service and has been involved in training for several years. Chief Garreau states “I look forward to carrying on the legacy of training within Alpharetta Fire, being a part of the first official recruit academy for the department, and hoping to impact as many people as I can in a positive way by sharing what I’ve learned. All with the end goal of leaving the fire service better than I found it."(City of Alpharetta)
- If you experience a burst water pipe or leaking water, please don't call 911, as that line is for emergencies. If you have a leak along a main water line along the street, call contact Fulton County Water Services (770) 640-3040. If there is burst pipe in your home, shut off the water and call a plumber or your landlord first. (City of Alpharetta)
