Armed Robbery Under Investigation In Alpharetta
A male subject entered Subway and ordered a sandwich before taking cash from the business, police say.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Alpharetta police are investigating an armed robbery reported last week at a sandwich shop. An officer was dispatched to a call of the robbery around 9:48 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 at Subway at 12460 Crabapple Road.
An employee told police that a man wearing a black and white jacket, gray baseball cap and plastic eyeglasses entered the store, ordered a sandwich, "presented a white plastic bag and pushed it across the counter while lifting his shirt," an incident report states.
The employee said he saw a small black handgun in the suspect's waist band. The accused robber, the report states, told the worker to "remain calm" and to place the money from the register inside the bag. According to the report, the employee complied with the demands while hitting the panic alarm button under the counter.
