Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists Welcome New Orthopedic Surgeon

From Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists: Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists announced the addition of Dr. Jeffrey P. Garrett to its Alpharetta and Cumming locations.

Dr. Garrett, a board-certified physician in orthopedic surgery, specializes in hip and knee replacements, as well as orthopedic trauma care. He brings over a decade of diverse experience, including previous service as a clinical faculty member for orthopedic trauma at the Atlanta Medical Center Orthopaedic Residency Program.

“It’s an honor to join Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists and work alongside great, talented physicians, who are experts and industry leaders,” Dr. Garrett said. “My philosophy is to treat patients like family, providing each with personalized and exceptional care.”

For faster recovery times and shorter hospital stays, Dr. Garrett said he uses the minimally-invasive direct anterior approach for total hip replacements.

In addition, Dr. Garrett provides expertise in acute fracture and reconstructive surgery, total knee replacement and minimally-invasive MAKOplasty robotic joint replacement procedures.
