- A man was arrrested for locking himself in a clubhouse bathroom at the Seven Oaks subdivision in Johns Creek and causing damage. The HOA president asked him to leave and he refused. The police took the man, who appeared to be intoxicated, to the hospital, and later, the Fulton County jail. He was charged with public drunkenness and obstruction. (Appen)

- City of Milton offices are open today after the holiday break. Many employees had the day off yesterday because New Year Day was a Sunday. Of course, emergency responders were working yesterday, as they are every day.(City of Milton, Georgia - Government via Facebook
- While the City of Alpharetta offices were closed yesterday, trash and recycling pickups will be on their regular schedule this week. Therefore, please place your containers outside by 7:00 a.m. on your regular scheduled day. (City of Alpharetta GA via Facebook)
