Here are the top stories in Alpharetta-Milton today:
- An adult man's body was found floating in the Chattahoochee River near Willeo Park in Roswell on Monday. A passerby saw the body and notified police. The body has not been identified and officials are determining his cause of death. (AJC)
- The City of Milton is considering revising its alcohol code, and some restaurants are not happy. At a recent City Council meeting, "Audience members booed as city leaders discussed getting rid of the current permit offered to Limited Food Service Restaurants, which allows alcohol to make up 70 percent of all sales and food to take up the remaining 30 percent. The city’s planning commission recommended the change to a 50/50 split on alcohol and food sales for restaurants." (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- It's official, long term lane closures on 400 and I285 will start this weekend. Commuting into Atlanta will become much slower for several months. Drivers are encouraged to reduce their speed, find alternate routes and use caution. (11 Alive)
