- There were multiple cars broken into in Alpharetta earlier this month. One was at the Benihana restaurant on Mansell Road on March 31. Security cameras filmed a grey Kia Optima pulling up next to the car and individuals breaking the car window. Other break- ins were at the Courtyard by Marriot on Kimball Bridge Road and Passador Brazilian Steakhouse on Mansell Road. The car windows were broken, but nothing was stolen. (Appen Media)
- Another tech company has chosen to move to Alpharetta. Movius Interactive Corporation, which is a software company, was founded in Duluth and recently moved to a larger space in Sanctuary Park in Alpharetta. This company has 72 employees, and is planning to expand to 100. Our area is attractive to many companies, as their employees live in the area, and rents are lower than in Atlanta. The office vacancy rate in North Fulton is 16.3%, compared to Midtown at 18% and Buckhead close to 20%. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- This week Milton will be participating in Georgia Cities Week, which is an opportunity to show why it is such a great community. - The Milton Farmer's market had its first market of the season yesterday. There were many local vendors selling food and other items.
