Here are the top stories today in Alpharetta-Milton:
- Now that Halloween is over, it's important for parents to carefully check their children's candy. This will keep them safe, as some dangerous drugs look just like candy. For example, there are Fentanyl tablets that are made to look like candy. (City of Alpharetta)
- The Alpharetta section of the Greenway was shut down yesterday due to a plane crash. It was a small single engine plane that went down near Kimball Bridge Road. Updates can be found on Alpharetta social media accounts. (City of Alpharetta)
- Early voting for the general election ends this Friday, Nov. 4, and the Election Day is next week. Here is a list of locations where you can vote before early voting ends; Milton and Alpharetta residents can use any one of them. https://www.fultoncountyga.gov/.../early-voting-locations. On Election Day (Nov. 8), you must use your assigned location. (https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/)
- Brian Kemp and Stacey Abrams plus Libertarian candidate Shane Hazel had a final debate for the governor's election on Sunday evening. If you missed it that evening, you can watch it on YouTube. It was hosted by Channel 2 Action News anchor Justin Farmer. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)

'Georgians may not experience price reductions at the grocery store due to inflation but can definitely appreciate savings at the pump,' said Waiters." (Cobb County Courier) - A Kennesaw State student was killed in a Halloween crowd surge where 153 people died in Seoul, South Korea.
