Travel on State Route 9 in Alpharetta will be reduced to a single southbound lane between Maxwell Road and Brady Place this Saturday, March 5.  Northbound motorists will be detoured from SR9 along Wills Road, Hembree Road, and Maxwell Road to get around the affected area.

The closure of all lanes except a single southbound lane is necessary as Georgia Power replaces two utility poles located between Maxwell Road and Brady Place.  The work requires the use of a large crane that will occupy three lanes on SR9.
