- The Alpharetta City Council is having their first meeting of 2023 tomorrow evening. It starts at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Here is a link to the agenda https://bit.ly/3VylUdv. You can either attend in person or watch it online. - A portion of Hamby Road in Milton is closed due to damage from an accident last week. The part that's closed is a bridge, and the City needs to make sure it's safe before it will be used. The City is hoping to open that portion of Hamby Road as soon as possible. (City of Milton)
- Kudos to the the Cambridge High School Football team; they had a great 2022 season. Their record was 6-3, named region champs, five players were invited to All Star games, nine players were on All State teams and more! Looking forward to next season! (Cambridge Bears Football via Facebook)

- The Atlanta Peach Drop took place on Dec. 31 for the first time since 2019. It didn't happen for two years due to the pandemic. Before the event, many celebrated at the nearby Atlanta Underground. Tens of thousands were in attendence, many of them for the first time.(11 Alive)
- Are you looking for fun things to do this week in the Atlanta area? There are tons of options, and many of them are nearby. You can go ice skating at the Alpharetta Avalon, check out the beautiful lights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and see the Dino Safari at the
North Point Mall in Alpharetta. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Cobb County man created a product that helps cancer patients while they're going through chemo. Trey Rollins, an anesthesiologist, wanted to help his wife minimize the side effects of chemo, and developed a "drinkable IV". It's called Biolyte, and helps cancer patients become better hydrated. The bottles are pink in October and a portion of October sales are donated to the American Cancer Society. (WSB Atlanta)
- A 6-year-old in Cobb County had an exciting birthday party. Isaac's birthday bash had a police theme, and Cobb County police attended. They answered questions from the guests, and let them press the patrol car buttons. Happy birthday to Isaac!(WSB Atlanta)
