- The Alpharetta City Council recently approved a contract for Mid Broadwell Park improvements. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- If you were driving in downtown Alpharetta yesterday, you may have run into some traffic. Between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. through Friday, Jun. 9, one northbound lane of State Route 9 between North Broad Street and Church Street will be closed for contractors to perform work on natural gas lines. While the closure is in effect, the traffic signal at State Route 9 and Milton Avenue/Academy Street will be disabled with police officers directing traffic, and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible. (City of Alpharetta News)
- On Monday, the Milton City Council voted to defer two votes related to the District of Mayfield, a project for an almost 18-acre area around Milton's downtown. Votes were deferred in order to address concerns and iron out any issues before the City Council's meeting on Monday, Jun. 19. (City of Milton News)
