- Starting this week, downtown Alpharetta will host a different celebration for the next three Friday evenings. They will take place from 5-9:00 PM and will include Santa, holiday music, snow flurries and Karaoke. This Friday, there will be a lighting of the Christmas tree; attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to NFCC. (Awesome Alpharetta)
- Registered voters in Alpharetta and Milton can take advantage of early voting this week for the Senate runoff election. You may vote at any location within Fulton County during early voting; here is a list https://www.fultoncountyga.gov/.../early-voting-locations. On Dec. 6, which is Election Day, you can vote only at your assigned location.
- Here's how to stay safe when purchasing or selling items online. You can conduct the transactions at the Alpharetta Public Safety Headquarters parking lot, located at 2565 Old Milton Pkwy. There are two designated parking spots under live video surveillance. (Alpharetta Department of Public Safety)
- This Saturday, there will be a Heartfelt Holiday Market at the Alpharetta Preston Ridge Community Center, located at Suite 100, Preston Ridge Road. The event will take place from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and will include crafts for sale, family fun and Santa! You'll be able to purchase unique items including pottery, jewelry and much more! - Here's some great news for holiday shoppers. When you purchase a holiday gift in downtown Alpharetta on December 2, you can have it wrapped for free at Chiringa.
