In this real estate market, two brains are better than one

In this rapidly changing real estate market, wouldn’t it be helpful to have a team of Realtors working on your behalf?

Say: one with deep experience in mortgage lending to help you navigate increasingly tricky financing options. And another who was a wiz at sales and data, who could help you assess a home’s true value and potential.

Now imagine if those Realtors had lived in the area for over 20 years, were in the top 5% of producers in the Atlanta area and were so obsessed with customer service that they had over 80 5-star reviews from clients.

Too good to be true you might be thinking. Well, meet LeeAnn and Phillip Maxwell.

Here are the top stories in Alpharetta-Milton today:

  1. Drivers in downtown Alpharetta may experience delays due to construction for a new crosswalk. It will connect the parking deck at 92 Milton Ave. and the north side of the street. There will be lane closures during business hours over the next several weeks; motorists are encouraged to avoid the area until it's completed. (City of Alpharetta)
  2. Carvin’ in Crabapple — Milton’s favorite family-centered Halloween-and-then-some event — is this weekend. "All are welcome to come to Broadwell Pavilion (located at 12615 Broadwell Road) between 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, for another exciting, fun edition of Carvin’ in Crabapple. This should be a great opportunity to enjoy some of the best the autumnal season has to offer in the company of awesome neighbors. As the name suggests, there will be carving involved — though you’ll need to bring your own pumpkins." The event will also have arts and crafts, music and much more. (City of Milton)
  3. Police officers in the Atlanta area are wearing pink to support breast cancer awareness and research. For example, officers in Sandy Springs purchased pink badges for about $108, and 10 percent of the proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, according to Sgt. Michael McGinnis. "11Alive medical correspondent Dr. Sujatha Reddy, a gynecologist, said about 300,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year nationwide. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the second leading cancerous cause of death in women. " (11Alive.com WXIA)
