- Today is Election Day; you can vote in person from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.! Fulton County schools will be closed as a result. Here is a list of all polling locations in our area, make sure you know where yours is. Hopefully this will be the end of all the political ads! (Election Day)
- Over the past weekend, the Milton Veteran’s Memorial Markers Organization placed 801 markers in different locations throughout the city. The purpose of the markers is to honor fallen veterans in our area. Each marker has the veteran's name and their conflict or time period. They are displayed each year around Veteran's Day and Memorial Day. (Milton Veterans)

- The Alpharetta Fire Department participated in a drill focused on what to do if we experience a nuclear crisis with mass casualties. It took place in Atlanta, and other the agencies include Atlanta - Fulton County Emergency Management Agency plus the Joint Task Force Civil Support. "Training for mass casualty events like this and building relationships with partner agencies are a key to being prepared, effective and efficient if they ever happen."
(FOX 5 Atlanta) - The City of Milton is welcoming back a valuable member of the community — Gary Mullinix. He is the new Chief Building Official, and will be overseeing inspections to enforce building codes, plus the permitting and inspection processes. "In addition to knowing our Code inside and out, Mullinix is a big believer in public education — whether you’re a big-time developer or ordinary citizen who wants to know when you do and don’t need a permit, and why. So you can look forward to more engagement opportunities with him in the future, whether in-person or online." (City of Milton)
- Over the weekend, a group of student volunteers spent the day helping out at North Fulton Charities. Students from the Emerging Leaders Program conducted a cleanup around the building, staffed the thrift store and organized the food pantry.
