Electronics Recycling Returns Nov. 3 In Alpharetta

The event, for residents and businesses, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The city of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission will host an electronics recycling initiative for businesses and residents next month. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Alpharetta Department of Public Works office at 1790 Hembree Road.

The city is joining forces with Atlanta Recycling Solutions to organize the event, which is designed to give residents and businesses the opportunity to properly recycle and dispose electronic waste.

The following items will be accepted at no charge:

  • DVD players & VCR's
  • Portable electronics
  • Mobile phones
  • Computer parts
  • Telephones
  • iPads and tablets
  • Toner cartridges
  • Cables/Wires
  • Calculators
  • Monitors*
  • Printers
  • Small electronics
  • Laptops
  • UPS batteries

Please note that there will be a $20 charge for acceptable televisions - no projection TV’s, console units, or TV tubes. *An additional charge of $10 will also be applied for CRT monitors.
