Fire Out After Crane Collapse At Avalon In Alpharetta
The fire broke out late Tuesday morning in Alpharetta.

ALPHARETTA, GA — No injuries were reported after a crane that caught on fire collapsed at Avalon in Alpharetta on Tuesday, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m., officials said that the fire is out and no injuries have been reported.
The mall is open and only one entrance is affected.

In a statement, Avalon said it was an isolated incident caused by an equipment malfunction on the crane. There was no property damage beyond the crane, the statement said.
