Fire Damages Wendy's On Mansell Road In Alpharetta
An Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesperson said the fire was caused by grease near or inside the restaurant's hood system.

ALPHARETTA, GA — A fire at a fast food restaurant caused considerable damage to its cooking area early Saturday evening in Alpharetta.
A fire was reported at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Wendy's at 1650 Mansell Road. Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesperson Jim Cheatham said the fire was caused by grease near or inside the restaurant's hood system. The hood system is the exhaust system stationed above commercial cooking areas.
"The fire caused moderate damage, and the hood system and fryer will probably need to be replaced," Cheatham told Patch.
