Here are the top stories in Alpharetta-Milton today:

  1. Would you know what to do if someone experiences a cardiac emergency? It's important that care is provided as quickly as possible. There is a free class where you can learn how to perform hands on CPR, as well as help someone who's choking. It will take place on March 5 starting at 1 p.m. at the Roswell Alpharetta Public Safety Training Center; you can sign up at https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/.../detail/61093...
  2. The Alpharetta City Council is meeting this evening at 6:30 p.m. at Alpharetta City Hall, located at 2 Park Plaza. It is open to the public, and you can attend in person or online. Here is a link to the agenda and packet materials https://bit.ly/3IsPixo.

  3. A man was arrested in Roswell after trying to get inside a residence on Crabapple Park Drive. The resident called police because a stranger was asking her to let him inside. He then proceeded to walk around the home and shine lights in windows. When police arrived, he was on top of the roof. (Appen)
  4. Have you got questions about horses? You can get answers by emailing them to asktheequestrian@miltonga.gov. Recent questions include whether horses sleep standing up. They can sleep both standing up and lying down; it depends on how deeply they're sleeping. If you see a horse lying down, most likely they are fine. (City of Milton)

They include a raised median, wider sidewalks, wider travel lanes in each direction and much more. This nine mile roadway includes many businesses, government facilities and residential areas. Many of these improvements will take place during the next five years. (Northside Neighbor)
