Ga. 400 Northbound Lane Closure Canceled For This Weekend
Northbound lanes on Ga. 400 will no longer be closed for several hours this weekend for the demolition of a bridge.
UPDATE 4:15 p.m.: The Georgia Department of Transportation announced Friday afternoon it will not be closing several lanes on Ga. 400 this weekend. The work will be rescheduled.
NORTH FULTON, GA — Weather permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will be closing multiple lanes on Ga. 400 northbound from I-285 eastbound on-ramp to Hammond Drive, including ramps and a full closure of Ga. 400 northbound on Friday to demolish the former I-285 westbound to Ga. 400 southbound bridge.

Ga. 400 northbound to I-285 westbound (Detour Map)
Motorists traveling on Ga. 400 northbound to I-285 westbound should take Exit 4A I-285 eastbound. Motorists should continue on I-285 eastbound and take Exit 29 Ashford Dunwoody Road. Motorists should turn left onto Ashford Dunwoody Road to access I-285 westbound.

Full closure of Ga. 400 southbound from I-285 eastbound on-ramp to Hammond Drive (Detour Map)
Motorists traveling on Ga. 400 northbound should use Exit 4A and follow signs to I-285 eastbound and Exit 29 Ashford Dunwoody Road. Motorists should take Exit 29 Ashford Dunwoody Road and turn left onto Ashford Dunwoody Road. Motorists should turn left onto I-285 westbound and continue on I-285 westbound and take Exit 27A and follow signs for SR 400 southbound.
