- Are you interested in gardening? There will be a workshop on integrated pest management (IPM) to help keep your garden safe. It will take place on June 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Old Rucker Farm, 900 Rucker Road in Alpharetta. Registration is required. (Summer Plant Series)
- One lane of a section of Bethany Bend at Hopewell Road in Milton will be closed this morning for road work. There will be flaggers to assist drivers during that time. Please allow extra time if you're driving in that area and try to take an alternate route if possible. Weather permitting, the work should be complete by noon. (City of Milton)
- Would your child enjoy art camp? Check out the Milton Parks and Rec's STEAM-sational Art camp, which is for ages 5-12. It's run by Kidcreate Art Studio, and will run next week from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The camp is at Community Place, which is the small building next to City Hall at 2006 Heritage Walk. This free concert, which will be behind City Hall, starts at 7:30 p.m. Bring your chairs, blankets and refreshments for a fun evening! - Have you recently been Birmingham Park in Milton? There is a new trail map on the kiosk at the trailhead. It has information on all the trails, including how long they are.
