Gwinnett Technical College to Host Open House

From Gwinnett Technical College:

On Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Gwinnett Technical College will host an open house on their Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus, located at 2875 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta. This is a great opportunity for students to come learn more about the exciting programs offered at Gwinnett Tech.

Students thinking about starting their college journey or those wanting to go back to school have great options to explore. Attendees will have the opportunity to start their admissions application on-site, meet with financial aid specialists, explore campus resources and academic programs, and take a self-guided tour of the campus.

A round-table academic affairs and student services fair will be offered in the main lobby. Representatives from Student Life, Move on When Ready, Veterans Affairs and other departments will be available to field questions, as well as representatives from many academic programs. Some programs will offer demonstrations to give visitors insight into their curriculum. Information sessions will be offered throughout the night on three topics: 1) Student Support Services, 2) Financial Aid, and 3) Pre-Healthcare programs at Gwinnett Technical College.

Prospective students need not bring anything with them but an inquisitive mind. An admission lab will be available all evening for participants wanting to begin their application process. Students that have already applied are encouraged to bring outstanding documents needed for admission. Compass Testing will also be available for applicants that don’t have ACT/SAT scores to submit. Students testing are asked to check in by 6:00 p.m.
