Juvenile Turns Himself In, Charged In North Point Mall Shooting
The carnival shooting was ruled accidental and injured two young adult females.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The juvenile accused in the shooting that injured two at the North Point Mall carnival Wednesday turned himself in Friday evening, according to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
The juvenile, who has not been named due to his age, is charged on suspicion of second-degree cruelty to children, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, two counts of reckless conduct, possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18 and tampering with evidence, public safety officials said.

Two young adult females were injured in the carnival shooting, which was ruled by authorities as accidental. Police said in the past they have known relationships to the accused shooter.
During the night of the shooting, police said the suspect ran from the scene. A handgun was recovered in the area, police said at a previous news conference.
