Kids Can Touch a Truck on Aug. 24

The event is in its 15th year, and will allow children to get up close to fire engines, race cars, trucks, construction equipment and more types of vehicles.

Children of all ages are invited to Alpharetta's 15th Annual Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wills Park.  

The free event typically attracts some 5,000 visitors each year, according to a press release from the city.

  • military vehicles
  • motorcycles
  • emergency vehicles
  • buses

Other activities include inflatables, face painting and animal balloons. Food and beverages will be available for cash only.
