Here are the top stories today in Alpharetta-Milton:

  1. There will be lane closures on Kimball Bridge Rd in Alpharetta starting today through Nov 4 between North Point Parkway and Northwinds Parkway. Drivers should try to avoid this area and expect delays. The closures are due to the Georgia Department of Transportation conducting utility work. (City of Alpharetta GA via Facebook)
  2. The Milton City Council voted to take no action against Councilman Paul Moore for violating city ethics policy. The ethics complaint related to his votes for funding projects within his White Columns neighborhood. Over the past few months, many Milton residents supported Moore and noted his many years of service. (Appen)
  3. Make sure to lock your car and remove valuables when parking near the trail heads along the Chattahoochee River. There have been more than 100 break- ins reported this year, double the number from last year, and very few arrests. The lots now have license plate readers to help identify cars involved in these break- ins. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
