ALPHARETTA, GA — Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will install daytime lane closures on Ga. 9 in Alpharetta this weekend as crews continue a project to widen and reconstruct the roadway between Upper Hembree Road and Windward Parkway, a distance of 3.6 miles.

Weather and on-site conditions permitting, one right lane will be closed on Ga. 9 northbound and one right lane southbound from Upper Hembree Road to Willis Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25.

These closures will help ensure the safety of drivers and workers as crews continue clearing vegetation along the roadway in preparation for the reconstruction project.
