'Leatherface' Halloween Prop Stolen From Restaurant: Cops
An unknown male was captured on camera taking a 6-foot replica of the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" character from an Alpharetta restaurant.
ALPHARETTA, GA — The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is asking the public to help them identify a man accused of swiping a large Halloween prop posted outside a restaurant.
The subject was captured on surveillance footage around 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 on the front patio of Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou Restaurant at 52B North Main Street taking an "expensive" 6-foot replica of Leatherface, a "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" character, the police department said on its Facebook page.
Police are looking for the subject, who is described as a white male between 5'10'' and 6 feet tall. He also had dark hair and was wearing glasses, pink shorts and a dark jacket. It also appears he was driving an older model SUV, possibly a Toyota 4Runner.
