  1. If you're planning to take the MARTA red line to Atlanta, please note that service will be suspended south of the Medical Center Station starting today. It won't resume until next Wednesday; the suspension is due to the tracks being replaced.   2. Alpharetta Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 10-year-old girl who was abducted last week. Jireh Carrice Marie Perry was last seen near the Alpharetta Gwinnet Tech campus on Old Milton Parkway. She was taken by her non-custodial father, Phillip Perry. If you have any information on where either person is, please contact the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety at 678-297-6300 x1; case number #2302-0133. (City of Alpharetta)
  3. The City of Milton Fire-Rescue Department is collecting supplies to ship to Turkey and Syria for victims of the recent earthquakes. They are accepting donations of many items such as powdered baby formula, raincoats, disposable diapers, soap, feminine hygiene products and others. (They are not accepting any monetary donations.) You can drop the supplies off at the lobby of Fire Station 44 (13690 Highway 9) during business hours. The Fire Department will bring the supples to Cafe Efendi, a local Turkish Restaurant, to be shipped to the earthquake zone. (City of Milton)
  4. Are you interested in learning how to respond to a disaster? You can take a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) class that covers areas including "fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. The session has eight evening classes starting in March, and they are held at the Roswell-Alpharetta Public Safety Training Center, 11565 Maxwell Road in Alpharetta.   • If you're planning to go to Dunwoody, you might want to check out its Farmers Market. It opened last week, and there are over 35 vendors plus an artisan market.
