- The City of Milton is continuing to make upgrades to parks. The Birmingham United Methodist Church field, used for baseball programs, has a new scoreboard and will soon have new batting cages. In addition, Legacy Park will soon have new batting cages that can be used for baseball, lacrosse, soccer and football. These enhancements are just in time for spring sports! (City of Milton)
- Tonight, Milton City Council is meeting at 6 p.m. at City Hall. Citizens are invited to attend in person or virtually at https://www.youtube.com/watch? One item on the agenda is to discuss future plans Mayfield Farm, a property owned by both Milton and Alpharetta. (City of Milton)
- A woman dining at Alpharetta's Barleygarden, located at the Avalon, was the victim of theft when her credit cards were stolen. They were in her purse, and the thieves attempted to make charges at multiple stores in the Atlanta area after returning her wallet to her purse. The charges, totaling nearly $25,000 at the Apple Store in Lenox and The Real Store in Buckhead, were declined. (Appen)

- Mark your calendar for Milton’s for our annual Spring & Vine Dinner on next Sunday, March 12th starting at 5:30 p.m. You will enjoy a four-course meal "from executive chef Derek Dollar alongside wine pairings from Duckhorrn Vineyards". It will be held on their patio lawn or indoors depending on the weather. (Milton's)
- A man performing waterproofing at a home in Cherokee County was buried alive in a collapsed trench. It occurred in a home near Woodstock in an unincorporated part of the county. Officials provided medical care for over two hours while he was buried and brought him to the hospital, where he is stable. (WSB Atlanta)
- GA senators voted down a proposal to create a new Buckhead city, separate from the rest of Atlanta. Reasons cited for their vote included where Buckhead City students would go to school, paying Atlanta's debts and the challanges of creating a separate Buckhead infrastructure. In addition, splitting from Atlanta could cause issues for other GA cities in the bond market, as there would be concerns that other cities could default on debts after splitting. (WSB Atlanta)
