- Milton Police are searching for two men who stole a white 2022 BMW X5 from a residence on the north end of Milton on Jan. 15 around 4:10 a.m. Later that night, the car was in an accident in Dekalb County. The men who allegedly stole the car fled on foot after the accident. This link has a video of one of the suspects; if you have any information on the robbery, please contact Det. - A Roswell trading card store was robbed of thousands of dollars worth of cards last week. The thief used a sledgehammer to get into Dave's Sport Cards at 900 Mansell Rd and went into the vault. He then removed the camera from the wall, and stole over $20,000 of cards. A similar robbery occured in BT Collectables in Cherokee County a few days earlier. Police are determining if the robberies are related. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- A prisoner who escaped from work release has been found in Buford. Cedric Demitri Rogers, 45, of Flowery Branch, was working at an animal shelter in Gainesville on Dec. 22, and removed his ankle bracelet nearby. Police found him at an abandoned house on Talley Lane off Thompson Mill Rd. (Now Habersham)

- Some King's Ridge Christian School Student Council students operated the school store as a fundraiser. They wore Western attire while grades Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades shopped there. Next week the store will be open and for Pre-K, 1st and 3rd grades during morning carpool. (King's Ridge Christian School via Facebook)
- The Milton High School Percussion Ensemble will be playing at the Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference in Athens next week! During the concert, GMEA All-State percussionist Cole Martin will be performing one piece. They will be holding a preview concert at MHS next week. (Milton High School Percussion via Facebook)
- Attention Trader Joe's shoppers -- the store in East Cobb has been closed temporarily due to burst pipes. The store is located at 4250 Roswell Rd. in Pinestraw Plaza. The repairs may be completed soon; check with the store before going there. (East Cobb News)
