Milton Reveals Name Of Former Milton Country Club Property
The name of the former Milton Country Club has been revealed by the city after hundreds of residents voted for the name.

MILTON, GA — The new name for the one-of-a-kind 137-acre property off Dinsmore Road is: Milton City Park and Preserve.
That name for the now formally former Milton Country Club emerged victorious after a very spirited, and very close, public online poll taken by hundreds of our citizens. All other four contenders got considerable support, with Milton Meadows placing second, in the single-question survey, which opened in late April and closed on May 11. This capped a weeks-long process that included council and citizens offering well over 200 name possibilities. Thanks to all who participated.
The city will be working over the coming months to formalize the new name in signage, documentation, online and more. In the meantime, people are as always welcome to enjoy all that Milton City Park and Preserve has to offer - whether it's a match on the tennis courts, an activity or event in the new community center, a 2.25-mile loop on the new walking trail, or a splash in the city pool.
