  1. The Milton Tennis Center's 15U girls won the ALTA City Championship! They had a 5-1 record during the season and beat Highland Point at the Dekalb Tennis Center in City Finals. Here are the team members: Camila Salinas, Lucy Dinnsen, Saanvi Movva, Kailey Reis, Catherine Rafferty, Ellie Richards, Nola Brown, and Sarah Nelson. Other teams from MTC had a great season including the women’s Thursday A-4 Division Champions, boy’s 12U Division Champions, and Men’s B team City finalists.   2. Now that it's colder, having a emergency kit in your car will help keep you safe. For example, it can keep you comfortable while you wait for help. Here are some items to include: reflective triangle or road flares, bag of kitty litter for traction, map, phone charger, ice scraper, blanket and non-perishable snacks.   3. Alpharetta's Season of Celebration has another event this evening at the Town Green in downtown Alpharetta! There will be movies atarting at 5:50 p.m. on the big screen for the entire family including Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. You can purchase hot chocolate at Kilwins, enjoy karaoke, and listen to stories from Santa at North Main Street Park.   4. Bryce Leatherwood, originally from nearby Woodstock, GA, won NBC's 'The Voice'! The 22 year old country singer was raised in Woodstock and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a business degree. He started singing in seventh grade while attending Dean Rusk Middle School in Canton. and played in different college bars when older.   5. There's a vaccine clinic for Milton residents today from 12 to 6 p.m. at the building beside City Hall (at 2006 Heritage Walk). COVID-19 and a limited number of flu vaccines will be provided by the City of Milton Fire Department and registration isn't required.
