- All veterans who have a connection with Milton are invited to the annual Veterans Breakfast this Saturday. You and your family members are welcome; it will take place at City Hall. If you would like to attend and meet other veterans in the area, please contact Maddy.Post@miltonga.gov to RSVP. (City of Milton)
- Here are some updates on the recent plane crash in Alpharetta near the Greenway. The plane was coming from Jeckyll Island and was supposed to land at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport. There were no survivors from the crash and the NTSB is conducting a thorough investigation including weather conditions, radar and the wreckage. The NTSB encourages anyone who may have witnessed the crash to email witness@NTSB.gov. (City of Alpharetta)
- Checks worth more than $250,000 have been stolen from the Dunwoody Post Office in recent months. The thieves have taken the checks and created new ones with the same account information. If you mail paper checks, make sure to monitor your account to make sure they are cashed for the correct amount and there aren't any unauthorized checks. (WSB-TV)
