  4. Are you interested in learning about plans to develop the South Main Street area in Alpharetta? The city is planning to study different options, and there is a meeting to discuss them next Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 5:30-7 p.m. in the Rotunda Area of Alpharetta City Hall. This will be the second and final meeting to engage the public and ask for their feedback. The goal of this plan is to transition this area into a mixed-use one with redevelopment potential. • Here's a reminder on how to stay safe while driving. It's very easy to be distracted while texting, cruising the internet, or looking up a phone number. If you have an urgent text or need to make an urgent call, pull over in a safe spot and take care of it while parked. No matter how important it is, the person on the other end would much rather you take a little extra time to be safe on the road, instead of putting yourself and others in danger.
