  1. Mark your calendars for Milton's Community Egg Hunt, which takes place on March 25 at the Cambridge High School football field. There will be multiple egg hunts depending on your child's age, and a special one for sensory sensitive children. In addition, there will be refreshments, face painting, music and more! The event is free, and people are asked to register in advance for planning at www.miltonga.gov/EggHunt. (City of Milton)
  2. A woman contacted Milton Police last month because she suspected that a man was following her around. She first noticed him at a dollar store, and then entered the Milton Package store to get away. In addition, she has a video of him outside her apartment door on another evening. "Police said the man resembled a man identified as a possible suspect in reference to an attempted kidnapping report in Forsyth County." (Appen)
  3. The Cambridge Theatre Players are having a production of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" starting this Thursday. There will be additional performances this Friday and later in March. Here is a link for tickets. https://www.cambridgetheatre.org/tickets. There will be a Mad Hatter's Tea Party on Saturday, March 25 in between the two shows that day. The party will include fun activities, refreshments, and opportunities to meet some of the characters. (City of Milton)
  4. There is good news for job seekers in Georgia; unemployment remains very low, according to the latest news from the Department of Labor. It was 3.1 percent in January, the same amount as in December of 2022. It is slightly lower than the national unemployment rate of 3.4 percent. Moreover, there were 14,000 new jobs in Georgia in January, compared to December.
