Here are the top stories today in Alpharetta-Milton:

  1. The City of Milton is accepting nominations for Milton's Wall of Fame. The winners will have their names on the Wall of Fame, which is located at Bell Memorial Park. The purpose of this wall is to honor exceptional athletes, artists, coaches and other key contributors. You can learn more at www.miltonga.gov/WallofFame, and the deadline for nominations is May 15. (City of Milton, Georgia - Government via Facebook)
  2. Due to the construction at GA 400 and I-285, there has been confusion caused by the recent opening of new ramps. Drivers coming from I-285 westbound and heading south on GA-400 have been confused because there isn't any signage showing how to get to the Glenridge exit. As a result, some drivers were seen stopping while they figure out how to get off this exit. "GDOT's traffic engineers are eyeing the situation to see if they need to add new traffic control measures to clean up any safety issues at the interchange." (11Alive.com WXIA)
  3. Milton residents can take advantage of new adult stretch and bootcamp classes. They are designed to improve flexibility, balance, energy and reduce stress. The classes will take place at different community centers and parks in Milton. Sign up today! (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
