Here are the top stories in Alpharetta-Milton today:

  1. Alpharetta and Milton residents can expect more coyotes in the area. With numerous wooded areas and streams in the area, Alpharetta and Milton are a perfect habitat for coyotes. "While the animals are typically not a threat to people, it is important that residents not encourage interaction with the animals and that steps are taken to not provide coyotes with food sources. Coyotes are animals of opportunity, so they will forage through garbage, eat pet food left outside, and attack small pets that are left unattended, even within fenced yards." (City of Alpharetta)
  2. "The City of Milton and LRJ Foundation will host a special webinar on Wednesday night to engage and educate the public on pivotal, widespread mental health issues. The webinar is part of Milton’s Mental Wellness Month, an effort to promote awareness and offer tools on challenges that impact people of all ages, backgrounds, and communities. The webinar will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21." You can access it at this link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/88012880008. (City of Milton)
  3. "Don't forget to buy your tickets to join us this Saturday, Sept. 24 for a great time in Downtown Alpharetta! It will take place from 6:30 – 11 p.m. There will be local brews from Jekyll Brewing, live music by BJ Wilbanks, and a variety of food tents and local eateries." Tickets are still available, and the event is rain or shine. (Brew Moon)

Moderated by WSB-TV reporter Steve Gehlbach, this forum will start at 7 p.m. and take place at Roswell City Hall." (Sales Tax)
