- A Johns Creek mother and daughter recently risked their lives trying to save swimmers at a Pensacola-area beach. Dee and Brin Vallee were at the beach on a family vacation on a day with red flags and rough surf. When they realized that several people in the water needed help, they both swam out to pull them out of the water. Some of the swimmers received CPR when they were back on the beach, and not everyone survived, including beloved Georgia coach Chuck Johnson. Many others on the beach helped out as well.
