  1. Milton has a new art program for children ages 3-12 starting in January and you can sign up now. "The two weekly offerings are: 'My Favorite Things' for those age 3 to 6, which will happen on Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. between Jan. 25 and March 15 and 'Canvas and Clay,' an opportunity for those between 5 to 12 to enjoy learning painting and clay techniques on those same Wednesdays, just from 4:30-5:30 p.m." There are also classes during school holidays. All classes will take place in the new Community Center at Milton City Park and Preserve, 1785 Dinsmore Road. (City of Milton)
  2. A road rage incident occurred in Johns Creek at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Buice Road. A woman used her horn when the driver in front of her didn't move at a green light. The driver exited his car, began yelling at her and threated to shoot if she didn't stop honking. He wasn't holding a weapon at that time. A witness took a picture of the tag number, which was blurry, and the police were unable to contact the owner. (Appen)
  3. Would your child like to hear back directly from Santa? You can bring your children's letters to his mailbox at at the Alpharetta Community until Dec. 10. Make sure it includes the child's first and last name, age, address and a wish list. Santa will respond to every letter received by Dec. 10. (City of Alpharetta)

Are you an Alpharetta-Milton resident looking for an investment alternative to the stock market? Consider fine art. Masterworks is the award-winning platform helping 575,000+ invest in works by the same world-renowned artists that are coveted by ultra-wealthy collectors and major museums alike (think Picasso, Basquiat, and Banksy.) Masterworks splits these multi-million dollar works into shares, so you can invest without breaking the bank.

Contemporary art has outpaced the stock market by a whopping 131 percent over the last 26 years. Seven of Masterworks’ eight sold paintings gave their investors a +17.8 percent net returns*.
