  1. Alpharetta is gaining the global headquarters of a new paper materials company, located near the Avalon. Neenah and Schweitzer-Maudit recently merged and are leasing space at 100 Kimball Place. 2. "Milton residents are invited to The ColLab at 14355 Providence Road from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 25, for a free, fun, family-friendly event to officially launch the Milton Friends of CHOA group. The inaugural 'Boo Bash' (because, ready or not, Halloween is around the corner) will feature decorations, snacks, items to buy at the 'BooTique,' games and activities for adults and children alike. The CHOA Friends of Milton (like other such groups) will aim to raise funds to support health care staff and children battling medical issues, many of whom might be spending this upcoming Halloween and future holidays in the hospital." 3. Georgia Ensemble Theatre’s production of 'Alabama Story' is playing through Sept. 25 at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. The play includes "political foes, star-crossed childhood friends, and one feisty state librarian taking the stage for a uniquely poetic love letter to reading." It's a drama based on true events.
