- Do you have any gently used coats to donate? North Fulton Charities has an upcoming coat and winter accessories drive at the Alpharetta Cooler. They also need financial donations and grocery items for their food pantry. (AJC)
- Milton firefighters will be holding a COVID - 19 vaccine clinic starting at 2 PM tomorrow at Community Place for people aged 12 and older. Please bring your health insurance card; you can save time by filling out this online form ahead of time https://ee.humanitarianresponse.info/x/xTeCxZ16. - Starting soon, Milton City Park and Preserve's Community Center will be offering "Bootcamp" classes. These classes will give you a chance to "get your blood pumping, muscles moving, and lungs active -- all aimed at making you feel better inside and out. " Zumba classes will also be offered. - Former president and Georgia resident Jimmy Carter turned 98 yesterday. He is the longest- living president, and celebrated his birthday with family and friends in Plains. One of his most important accomplishments is establishing the Carter Center, which has been establishing peace and health worldwide for 40 years. (People)
- Creekview Elementary School in Alpharetta is having their annual Walk to School day on October 5th. Parents are encouraged to walk their children to school that day. Parking is available at the Windward Club on Lake Windward Drive. (Creek View Elementary School PTA via Facebook)
