North Fulton Septic Tank Owners: Informational Workshop

NORTH FULTON, GA — North Fulton residents have a chance to learn the ins and outs of their septic system in a workshop, according to a release from the Alpharetta website.

"Do you have a septic tank system? Does conflicting information have you wondering what you should and should not do to keep it working properly?" the site asks. If this applies to you, the workshop may be a good idea.

The city says simple maintenance can prevent most big issues with septic tanks.

The Fulton County Department of Public Works is hosting the workshop alongside Alpharetta, Roswell and Milton.

The free workshop will be Jan. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fulton County Customer Service Center at 11575 Maxwell Rd. in Alpharetta.

• Do’s and don’ts on what you can put down the drain
• Maintenance
• When to call a professional
