Here are the top stories today in Alpharetta-Milton:
- Fall Fest will take place this Saturday, Oct. 30, at North Point Church, located at 4350 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta. Wear your costumes and enjoy games, music, food trucks and hot apple cider! There are activities in the morning and afternoon for different age groups and all are welcome! (North Point)
- Early voting for the general election is underway for Alpharetta and Milton residents! There has been a record turnout and there is still plenty of time to vote. Lines haven't been long due to a new pilot process for check ins. (Early Voting)
- A student was shot near Norcross High School this week. The Gwinnett County Police are investigating this incident. The superintendent reminded the community that any students involved with violence or threats will be held accountable. (WSB TV)

- Want to learn more about trees, flowers and seeds? Come to the Bell Memorial Park in Milton on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. City Arborist Sandra Dewitt will lead an educational walking tour of the Mark Law Arboretum. There's no cost for this session, and you don't need to register. (City of Milton)
- Milton Police Officer Shi-Peng Ma was recently praised for helping a community member. A driver called 911 after his car stalled, creating a dangerous road condition.
