'Parental Guidance' Coming to Alpharetta City Pool

Locally filmed movie will hit the big screen Friday night.

Get your floats and water noodles ready. On Friday, Aug. 2, the locally filmed movie “Parental Guidance” will air at the Alpharetta City Pool, 1815 Old Milton Parkway. 

Filmed partly in Ocee Park in Johns Creek and even featuring an Alpharetta actress, "Parental Guidance" stars Billy Crystal and Bette Midler as old-school grandparents who are in for a surprise when faced with babysitting their modern grandchildren. The film, rated PG, features Alpharetta actress Madison Lintz and extras from Ocee Athletic Association teams.

The Dive-In Movie is Sponsored by the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department.  Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie begins around 9.

Pool admission is $3 per person, $1 for senior adults (50 and older), and children age 3 and under; pool pass holders get in free.
