Police Identify Pedestrian Killed In Crash
The 69-year-old Sandy Springs man died Monday evening in the collision on New Providence Road in Milton.

MILTON, GA — Milton police have released the identity of the Sandy Springs man who died Monday evening after he was hit by a vehicle.
Officers, firefighters and EMS crews responded to the crash around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 8 on New Providence Road at Atlanta National Drive. Crews arrived to find the pedestrian, identified as Thomas Herbert Joe, 69, of Sandy Springs, dead at the scene.
The Milton Police Department Crash Response Team responded to the collision and is investigating the accident. Milton police spokesperson Capt. Charles Barstow said the investigation into the incident remains active and any charges related to the accident, if they are filed, will be determined at a later date.
