Stolen 'Leatherface' Halloween Prop Found, Returned To Restaurant
Alpharetta police received an anonymous tip that led to the recovery of the 6-foot tall replica of the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" character.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The mystery surrounding the theft of a Halloween prop from an Alpharetta restaurant has been solved, according to the city's Department of Public Safety.
After sharing surveillance video from Flatlands Bourbon and Bayou of the accused thief making off with a 6-foot tall replica of Leatherface, police received anonymous tip Tuesday morning that led to the recovery of the prop resembling the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" character.
The owners of the restaurant at 52B North Main Street have said they will not be pursuing criminal charges "in the hopes a lesson was learned here," ADPS said.
