  1. The City of Alpharetta has made plans to significantly improve sections of Webb Bridge Road. This $14 million project will focus on the sections between Webb Bridge Park to Maid Marion Close and Big Creek Greenway to just east of North Point Parkway. The width of the travel lanes will be narrowed, with a lower speed limit. In addition, there will be a new roundabout at the intersection of Webb Bridge Road and Webb Bridge Way, plus a new sidewalk and pedestrian lighting. This project will take approximately 18 months to complete. (City of Alpharetta)

  3. Two rappers were killed in an Atlanta nightclub in 2017, and a jury has awarded their families a total of $160 million. Ewell “Wells” Ynoa, 21, and Giovanni “Geo” Diaz, 22, were performing at Masquerade in underground Atlanta when they were gunned down by Jonathan Bautista during an argument. Their families sued the club and Sony Music Holdings because the club didn't have enough security to prevent the shooting. Bautista is now in prison serving a 40 year sentence. (WSB Atlanta)
