Where To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Milton
The city will host its Bring One for the Chipper event on Saturday, Jan. 5.

MILTON, GA — Now that the Christmas holiday is receding in the rear-view mirror, you will have to find a suitable place to dispose of the tree that was the center of your decorations. There are at least three options available for Milton residents who want to properly dispose of their trees.
The city will host its annual Bring One for the Chipper recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Milton High School. The recycling event will be held in the parking lot closest to Freemanville Road.
Bring One for the Chipper is a statewide effort to reuse Christmas trees. Since its inception, the program has recycled an estimated 6 million Christmas trees. The mulch from these trees has been used for playgrounds, local government beautification projects and individual yards.
